How to divide low-voltage electrical appliances and high-voltage electrical appliances:
1. Low-voltage electrical equipment: refers to the low-voltage electrical equipment we refer to in daily life refers to equipment that undertakes on-off control in the 380/220V power grid.
Low-voltage electrical appliances are components or equipment that can manually or automatically switch on and off circuits according to external signals and requirements to realize the switching, control, protection, detection, transformation and adjustment of circuits or non-electric objects. According to the working voltage of the control appliances, with AC 1000V and DC 1500V as the boundary, they can be divided into two categories: high-voltage control appliances and low-voltage control appliances. In general, low-voltage electrical appliances can be divided into two categories: power distribution appliances and control appliances, which are the basic components of complete sets of electrical equipment.
2. High-voltage electrical appliances refer to equipment used in high-voltage lines to achieve closing, opening, protection, control, regulation, and measurement.
General high-voltage electrical appliances include switching appliances, measuring appliances, and current-limiting and piezoelectric-limiting devices. The internationally recognized dividing line for high and low voltage electrical appliances is AC 1kV (DC is 1500V). For AC 1kV and above, high-voltage electrical appliances are used, and 1kV and below are low-voltage electrical appliances. Sometimes transformers are also included in high-voltage electrical appliances.
